Mint Medispa is a leading provider of quality skincare solutions in Kilkenny, Ireland, specialising in lasers, facials, and massage therapies and selling a respected collection of well-known brands like Dermalogica and AlumierMD. Located in the Pembroke Hotel near Kilkenny Castle, the spa wanted to increase its social media presence to attract more guests and residents and to build a more extensive and repeat clientele base.

Our Solution

To elevate Mint’s visibility and lay the groundwork for increasing followers, subscribers, clients, and sales, we set out to re-energize their social media formula with an emphasis on mini-campaigns and special promotions, including popular product tips, testimonials, and introductions to the spa’s friendly staff of expert therapists.

With an expanding content calendar and new state-of-the-art treatments and technologies, we started capturing photography and videos and creating headlines and captions to educate existing clients and inspire new ones. This included adding relevant data related to product performance, treatment reviews, general beauty news, and self-care tips.

We focused on making it easier for potential clients to locate the spa’s offerings, get a feel for the quality of their staff, and create a seamless experience when booking a treatment.

Our digital strategy work led to other related marketing activities, like a launch event with one of Mint’s newest product lines, GAIA. We worked alongside the Mint team to plan a two-day gathering of journalists, bloggers, and influencers that included a free night’s stay at the Pembroke, a reception and dinner party at Statham’s, a mindfulness session with Solaris Tea, yoga with Koru Wellness, personalised GAIA treatments, and gift bags filled with products and Statham’s handmade jellies.

We designed welcome cards for special guests, lobby signage, lift promotions, mirror clings for guest rooms, dinner menus, name cards, and gift tags. We also decorated the dining room, courtyard, lobby, and guest rooms with curated campaign elements, fresh fruit, greenery, and stunning florals from Michelle Mulhall at Gypsy Rose Wildflower.

Working with Catie Beth and Kim from K. Hope Creative was a game changer for me in 2023. I found myself being able to deliver operationally while our social media was being looked after. Catie Beth's expertise in crafting engaging social media content has elevated our presence online. Her approachable manner and fabulous attitude make our team feel more confident being involved in our social content. Kim and Catie Beth supported the development and execution of one of our best events for Mint in 2023, the launch of our Gaia brand into the hotel, this support made them an invaluable partner as we learned so much from their professionalism and experience. We’re excited to see what 2024 brings for K. Hope and Mint Kilkenny.
