In case you’re wondering, her middle name is Hope.
The driver behind K. Hope, Kim uses her journalism background and non-profit leadership experience to guide the agency’s goals and direction. A West Virginia native and Ohio University graduate, her career started in magazines, migrated to marketing, and ultimately led to the creation of K. Hope Creative.
Her claims to fame include being on the founding team of EdVenture Children’s Museum, breaking the Guinness Record for the World’s Largest Rubberband Ball, and developing a series of highly acclaimed educational and entrepreneurial initiatives like the state’s first virtual engineering program for high school students and a series of STEM camps for middle schoolers.
She helps rural communities build digital economy ecosystems via South Carolina’s Rural Innovation Network, a non-profit she founded in 2018.
When she’s not behind the K. Hope wheel, she is passionate about travel, gardening, interior design, writing, reading, throwing highly spirited dinner parties, and spending time with family. Kim is married to Matt Manelli and makes her home in Hartsville, SC.
